Rental Agreement

Welcome to OceanRox. This Rental Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which clients may charter boats and yachts through our global network. Our mission is to provide a seamless, secure, and luxurious experience while maintaining a high standard of safety, compliance, and professionalism.

📄 Agreement Overview

This Rental Agreement is a binding contract between the charter client (“Client”) and OceanRox (“Company”). By submitting a booking request, completing payment, or boarding a vessel, the Client acknowledges and accepts these terms.

👤 Eligibility Requirements

• ✅ Minimum age requirement according to regional laws
• ✅ Valid government-issued ID or passport
• ✅ Qualified operator license where required
• ✅ Acceptance of safety briefing and operational rules
• ✅ Ability to comply with maritime laws and crew instructions

🛥️ Vessel Use & Conduct

All clients agree to:

• ✅ Operate or allow operation only by approved qualified captain
• ✅ Respect navigation zones, maritime rules, and port regulations
• ✅ Ensure responsible on-board behavior at all times
• ✅ Prevent damage to vessel, marine life, and environment
• ✅ Return vessel in same condition unless otherwise arranged

No illegal activity, reckless boating, or unauthorized destinations permitted.

👨‍✈️ Crewed & Self-Drive Charters

• 👨‍✈️ Crewed Charters include licensed captain + optional crew/staff
• 🛠️ Self-Drive Charters require proof of boating license where applicable
• ⚠️ Company may refuse self-drive for safety or insurance reasons

📍 Itinerary & Travel Regulations

Approved routes will be provided based on destination laws and sea conditions. Deviations require written approval. Cross-border marine travel may require:

• ✅ Passports & visas
• ✅ Customs clearance
• ✅ Maritime entry permits
• ✅ Sailing authorization papers

OceanRox assists with international travel documentation where possible.

💰 Payment & Security Deposit

• ✅ Rental Fare — due before departure
• ✅ Security Deposit — held for damages, fuel, cleaning, delays
• ✅ Fuel — charged by usage unless specified
• ✅ Taxes/fees — based on jurisdiction
• ✅ Event charters may require additional hold

Payments accepted: Bank transfer, credit card, and approved digital settlement including XRP & BTC.

🛟 Safety & Insurance

All rentals include standard marine liability insurance. Additional coverage may be required depending on vessel size, region, or charter type.

Client Responsibilities:

• ✅ Follow safety briefings & captain instructions
• ✅ Wear life jackets when required
• ✅ Operate responsibly & avoid negligence
• ✅ Report damage immediately

Insurance does not cover reckless behavior or unauthorized operation.

⚓ Weather & Rescheduling

OceanRox follows professional marine safety protocols. In case of unsafe weather or government advisories:

• ✅ Charter may be rescheduled
• ✅ Alternate vessel or itinerary provided if feasible
• ✅ Full cancellation only when legally mandated or approved

🚫 Cancellation Policy

• ✅ Free cancellation window based on booking tier
• ✅ Fees apply after confirmation period
• ✅ No-show = full charge
• ✅ Weather cancellations follow marine safety rules

🔧 Damage & Responsibility

Client is responsible for damages resulting from negligence, unauthorized operation, alcohol/drug impairment, or violations of maritime law.

🌐 Global Law & Jurisdiction

OceanRox operates internationally. Applicable legal jurisdiction depends on charter origin, vessel registry, and operating region. Maritime safety rules and international boating laws always apply.
